I’m kind of an opera fanatic. (My husband would delete “kind of” from that sentence.) Today I’m going to Glimmerglass Opera in Cooperstown, NY to meet one of my very best friends and see a production of Verdi’s La Traviata.
Later this week, I’ll blog about what opera has taught me about writing fiction. Hint: It’s got nothing to do with fat ladies singing, although if you bring a fat lady on stage, you’d better have her do something before the end of the show. Kind of like Chekhov’s gun.
